The fifth day of May in China is the Dragon Boat Festival, also known as the Dragon Boat Festival. It is a folk festival that combines ancestor worship, blessing, entertainment and food.
The Dragon Boat Festival originated from the worship of natural celestial phenomena and evolved from the dragon worship in ancient times. There are many different opinions about the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival, such as commemorating the patriotic poet Qu Yuan.
The Dragon Boat Festival is known as one of the four major traditional festivals of Chinese folk along with the Spring Festival, Qingming Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival. It is also the first festival selected into the intangible cultural heritage of China.
