Recently, in Inner Mongolia, rows of photovoltaic panels in the vast desert sparkled under the sunlight. This "photovoltaic Great Wall" is more than 100 kilometers long, and the scene is spectacular. There is also a vibrant scene under the photovoltaic sea.
The project is mainly located in the Kubuqi Desert and the southern arid hard ridge area.
The Kubuqi Desert Project is planned to have a total length of 133 kilometers and an installed capacity of 27 million kilowatts.
The base adopts the "photovoltaic + ecological management + organic agriculture and forestry + desert tourism" model, planting cash crops such as Amorpha fruticosa, Astragalus membranaceus, and Scutellaria baicalensis.
