On October 28, Shijing Solar's official Weibo account announced that it was going to Mexico to build a photovoltaic cell project. The Shijing Mexico photovoltaic cell project is located in Huejo Tsingo, Puebla, and will build a high-efficiency photovoltaic cell production line, which is expected to reach full production in 2025.
Puebla State is located in central Mexico, with convenient transportation and only 150 kilometers away from Mexico City. There are many industrial parks around the project area, which are convenient for resource sharing and upstream and downstream collaboration. The flat terrain and mild climate are very suitable for the construction and operation of factories and logistics facilities. It is reported that the project has received strong support from the government departments of Puebla State. The local government actively promoted the approval process of the project, accelerated the progress of the project, and gave policy preferences in resource allocation and infrastructure support, which fully demonstrated the local government's high attention to the clean energy industry. With the high support of the local government, the stable supply of hydropower resources for the project can be ensured. In addition, the construction of the project can create a large number of employment opportunities and will create about 300 jobs for the local employment market in Mexico. Anhui Shijing Solar Technology Co., Ltd. (Shijing Solar for short): It is a leading photovoltaic integrated enterprise covering R&D, production, sales and services. As an innovator of N-type batteries, Shijing New Energy has invested in the construction of two major industrial bases, with a total planning of 40GW N-type high-efficiency solar cell projects, and the conversion efficiency of the N-type TOPCon high-efficiency batteries produced is more than 26.5%.
